100 papaya trees cut down at Hawaii island farm
Some 100 papaya trees were cut down overnight Thursday at a farm in Puna on Hawaii island, police said today.
The trees were felled sometime between 5:30 p.m. Thursday and 6:30 a.m. today in Kapoho off Highway 132 near the 4-mile marker, police said.
The trees were 3- to 4-feet tall and valued at $3,000, according to police
