United Arab Emirates-based Etihad Airways has applied with the U.S. Department of Transportation to have its code displayed on Korean Air’s flights between Seoul and Honolulu as early as Monday.
Code-sharing allows carriers to agree to sell seats on the other’s flights.
The code-share would allow Abu Dhabi passengers on Etihad Airways to transfer in South Korea to Korean Air en route to Honolulu.
