Vegas police release video of Fremont Street shooting
LAS VEGAS >> Ten weeks after a weekend shooting wounded two people at the busy Fremont Street Experience, Las Vegas police have posted an Internet video to try to identify their assailant.
Officer Jose Hernandez says the 2 a.m. June 8 gunfire left two bystanders wounded at the downtown pedestrian casino mall.
A 28-year-old man and 24-year-old woman were treated for minor wounds and released.
Crowd surveillance video posted Thursday to YouTube shows a fistfight that leaves one man unconscious on the concrete pavement before a male steps toward one of the combatants and apparently fires a handgun.
Both the intended victim and the apparent shooter run away.
Hernandez says the unconscious man recovered and fled before security arrived.
