A rare month without rain in Seattle ends with a drizzle
SEATTLE >> A dry streak that began on June 27 is ending today with a drizzly day in Seattle.
The National Weather Service says a trace of rain had been recorded by noon at Sea-Tac Airport. Meteorologist Art Gaebel says it will likely reach the .01 mark needed for an official reading of precipitation.
It was dry through July at Sea-Tac for the first time since 1960.
