Imelda Mendoza was the first to receive her naturalization certificate during a special ceremony aboard the battleship U.S.S. Missouri at Pearl Harbor on Wednesday. There were 27 nations represented in a diverse group of close to 100 applicants including an 18-year-old from Hong Kong and a 74-year-old from the Philippines.

Close to 100 people took part in a special naturalization ceremony aboard the battleship U.S.S. Missouri at Pearl Harbor on Wednesday. There were 27 nations represented in the diverse group of applicants including an 18-year-old from Hong Kong and a 74-year-old from the Philippines.
