Boy, 6, in critical condition after nearly drowning off Maui
Three Maui hunters needed assistance from Makawao firefighters when they got disoriented by fog and darkness on the Waiakoa Loop Trail early this morning.
A 6-year-old boy was in critical condition Sunday afternoon after he was pulled unconscious from ocean waters off Stable Road.
Maui Fire Department personnel responding to a 2:02 p.m. call located the child at the water’s edge and administered CPR until paramedics arrived to transport him Maui Memorial Center.
