Woman arrested after store security finds gun in her purse
Police Tuesday arrested a 66-year-old woman who allegedly had a handgun in her purse found during a security stop at an Ala Moana area store.
Police said the woman was stopped by store security for shoplifting at 5 p.m.
While retrieving store property from the woman’s purse, store security found a handgun.
Police arrested the woman on suspicion of a weapons charge.
