LAS VEGAS » Police say they’re investigating a fatal shooting in an alley not far from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas campus.

Authorities say they got multiple calls a little before noon today about a shooting on East Harmon Avenue and Spencer Street.

Police Officer Bill Cassell says the male victim was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, and was pronounced dead about an hour later.

Cassell says nobody has been arrested in the case. He says multiple vehicles were seen leaving the area.

The identity of the person who was killed was not immediately released.
