» Washington State freshman Lia Galdeira (Konawaena ’12) scored a game-high 22 points with five rebounds and two steals, and guard Dawnyelle Awa (Konawaena ’12) made her first collegiate start and finished with seven points, six steals, four rebounds and four assists in a 76-73 overtime win over Oregon State on Sunday.
» Utah senior Iwalani Rodrigues (Kalani ’08) was 6-for-10 for 12 points, three rebounds and two assists in a 71-54 loss to California on Sunday.
» Pacific (Ore.) sophomore forward Anuhea Wall (Konawaena ’11) scored three points with a rebound and a steal in a 67-55 win over Willamette (Ore.) on Friday. Bearcats starting sophomore Julia Brand (Punahou ’11) was held to two points, two assists and two steals, and Daena Mau (Punahou ’11) had two rebounds off the bench for Willamette.

» Oklahoma freshman Joshua Yee (Thompson Academy ’12) scored a 14.0 on the parallel bars to help the Sooners win the Metroplex Challenge on Friday against six other teams.

» LSU sophomore Randi Lau (Thompson Academy ’11) tied for second on the vault with a career-best-tying 9.90 at the Metroplex Challenge on Saturday. Lau is now ranked No. 8 in the country as an individual in the vault.
» UC Davis sophomore Tiana Montell (St. Joseph ’11) earned a 9.150 on vault and a 9.675 on the bars in a meet on Saturday against Missouri, Air Force and Texas Women’s University, helping the Aggies take first.
» Cornell junior Mackenzie Sato (‘Iolani ’10) earned a 9.475 on floor exercise in a win over Cortland on Saturday.

» Pepperdine sophomore outside hitter Josh Taylor (Punahou ’11) had 21 kills, but hit just .151 in two losses to Hawaii at the Stan Sheriff Center. Taylor had 12 kills, five digs and three block assists in a five-set loss on Friday and followed that with nine kills and four block assists as the Waves were swept on Sunday.
» Holy Names sophomore outside Keenan Paulos (Saint Louis ’11) had a match-high 18 kills, six digs, two solo blocks and two assists, and junior Michael Gomez (Maryknoll ’10) had a team-high 17 digs in a five-set win over California on Sunday. Sophomore Bryson-Joey Morn (Farrington ’11) added a match-high 29 assists and 11 digs, Clyde Ortega (Waipahu ’12) had 14 assists, six solo blocks, three kills and two digs, and Ryan Barrett (Radford ’10) chipped in two kills and two blocks for the Hawks.
» Concordia (Calif.) Irvine freshman Chad Barretta (Hawaii Baptist ’12) had seven digs, a block assist, a kill and an assist, and sophomore libero Christopher Matsui (Hawaii Baptist ’10) had four digs and a kill in his only attempt in a five-set win over Hope International last Wednesday. Royals sophomore Matt Heirakuji (Kamehameha ’11) had 10 digs and a kill, and freshman Jared Shirai (Kaimuki ’01) had an ace and a dig for Hope International.

» Cal State Bakersfield driver Paige Tsuruda (Word of Life ’10) scored two goals in an 11-10 win over Concordia-Irvine on Saturday and added another goal in a 20-3 loss to Stanford on Sunday as the Roadrunners finished 1-3 at the UC Santa Barbara Winter Invitational.
» University of Redlands senior driver Moana Tuipulotu (Lahainaluna ’09) scored four goals in a 10-3 win over Cal State San Bernardino and added three scores in an 11-5 win over Whittier (Calif.) on the opening day of the season Sunday.
» Concordia-Irvine senior Hannah Bennett (Hilo ’09) scored two goals in an 11-9 loss to Santa Clara and added another in a 15-5 loss to Arizona State in the Eagles’ final two games of the UC Santa Barbara Winter Invitational on Sunday.

» American University redshirt freshman David Terao (Mid-Pacific ’11) won a 6-4 decision at 125 pounds in a 24-13 loss to Columbia on Sunday.
» Johns Hopkins sophomore Evan Johnson (Punahou ’11) won two matches at 197 pounds on Saturday, winning a 2-1 decision against New York University and scoring a 77-second win by pinfall against Washington and Lee. The Blue Jays split the matches, losing to the Violets in their first match. NYU sophomore Pat Sheehan (Punahou ’11) won his match at 184 pounds by a 2-1 score.

» Pacific (Ore.) sophomore Jordyn Lee (Castle ’11) reached the consolation third round in the 109-pound weight class in her first competition of the season at the Women’s Collegiate Wrestling Association National Championships on Friday, finishing 1-2.
