Hawaii beaches among world’s best in new ranking

Four Hawaii beaches are among the world’s best, in various categories, according to readers of Travel + Leisure magazine.
Kauai’s Polihale Beach is the world’s best beach for seclusion, Wailea Beach on Maui is the No. 1 beach for activities; Black Sand Beach at Waianapanapa State Park on Maui is the best for dramatic landscapes; and Hapuna Beach on Hawaii island is ranked at No. 3 among the world’s best beaches for families, the readers’ survey found.
