A man was sent to the Queen’s Medical Center in serious condition following the report of a stabbing in Kaimuki Thursday afternoon. 

Emergency personnel were sent to the scene near Waialae Avenue and 13th Avenue about 12:10 this afternoon, an official with the city Department of Emergency Services said.

A Honolulu Police Department official said the victim, who is in his 30s, got into an altercation with several people on the sidewalk and sustained injuries that were not life-threatening.

There were no immediate arrests or suspects and police are waiting to speak to the victim, the HPD official said.
