Pearl City man tried to strangle his wife, police allege
A 54-year-old Pearl City man allegedly tried to strangle his wife during an argument Sunday night, police said.
Police said the couple were arguing in their home when the suspect allegedly began slapping his 56-year-old wife and tried to strangle her.
He was arrested on suspicion of abuse of a family member Monday night.
