HPD holding job fairs today and on Saturday
The Honolulu Police Department is offering two career informational sessions on becoming a police officer this week due to popular demand.
The sessions, which will be held at the police training academy, are by reservation only.
They will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today and 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday.
Interested persons should email joinhpd@gmail.com to reserve a seat or call 723-3560 and leave a message with the date preferred.
A confirmation email will be sent with added information.

Correction: The sessions will be about becoming a police officer and not for other openings in the department. An earlier version of this story said the sessions would include information on job openings for dispatchers, clerk typists, fleet mechanics, radio technicians and service station attendants, as well as jobs in the Scientific Investigation Section and Information Technology Support.
