Dixie State drops Hawaii Pacific women
Sheila Adams scored 20 points to lead Dixie State to a 78-75 women’s basketball win over Hawaii Pacific on Monday at Blaisdell Arena.
Paris Gravely scored 23 points for the Sea Warriors (11-10, 5-6). The Red Storm improved to 15-5 and 10-3.

Men’s honor roll
» Matt Cousins, Chaminade: The senior big man averaged 15.3 points and 8.3 rebounds as the Silverswords went 1-2 last week. He was 14-for-22 from the field and 18-for-24 from the line.
» Bracken Funk, Brigham Young-Hawaii: The sophomore guard averaged 15 points, 9.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists for the Seasiders in a 1-1 week. He was 11-for-22 from the field.
Women’s honor roll
» Kirsty Imai, Hawaii-Hilo: The junior guard out of Waiakea averaged 16 points as the Vulcans went 0-2 last week. She tied for the conference lead in 3-pointers by hitting seven of 15.

» Shayla Washington, Brigham Young-Hawaii: Last week, the junior forward led the PacWest in scoring, averaging 20.5 points, and steals (3.5) for the Seasiders, who went 0-2. She also had 15 rebounds in the two losses.
BYUH splits with Pacific Lutheran
Brigham Young Hawaii split a softball doubleheader with Pacific Lutheran on Monday in Laie. Haley Sones hit a two-run double to give the Seasiders a 5-4 win in the second game after the Lutes won the opener 8-0.
