UH women’s basketball team gets crushed at Fresno State
Western Athletic Conference women’s basketball leader Fresno State turned 30 Hawaii turnovers into 36 points as the Rainbow Wahine were blown out 83-48 at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif., today.
UH’s three-game winning streak came to an end. The Wahine (8-12, 3-2 WAC) fell behind from the outset, trailing 22-4 at the midpoint of the first half.
Freshman center Kalei Adolpho led UH with 14 points off the bench.
Bulldogs guard Ki-Ki Moore scored 23 of her 28 points in the opening period.
FSU (17-4, 5-0) hit 11 3-pointers compared to a lone UH hit by Sydney Haydel.
