School preview, with puppets
A program featuring handmade puppets will delight children and educate parents about the early childhood curriculum at Honolulu Waldorf School.
The show starts at 10 a.m. on Jan. 28 and lasts about 20 minutes, followed by an open house at the school.
Honolulu Waldorf School offers an academic program that includes mandatory foreign languages beginning in grade 1, as well as arts, music, movement and drama.
The puppet show will be at the Niu Valley campus at 350 Ulua St.

‘Bounce the Block’ offers high-flying fun for keiki
Keiki who have the urge to climb, slide and bounce will be able to do all of the above at “Bounce the Block” Friday and Jan. 28 and 29 at The Kakaako Warehouse, 805 Ala Moana Blvd.
More than 20 bouncers (presented by Ohana Bounce) are to be featured, along with food vendors, face painting, balloon artists and magicians.
Bounce the Block takes place from 4 to 9 p.m. in conjunction with Eat the Street on Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Cost is $3 per bouncer or $10 for unlimited play and a free cotton candy or shave ice. Call Doug at 469-2417.
