Ewa mental facility escapee arrested in Waikiki
A woman who escaped from the Kahi Mohala Behaviorial Facility in Ewa on Monday was captured in Waikiki this morning.
A police officer at a traffic stop on Kalakaua Avenue saw a woman acting suspiciously on the sidewalk about 5:30 a.m. today.
A check revealed the woman, 25, was the same person who escaped from Kahi Mohala.
She was arrested without incident.
