Apparent near-drowning in Hilo sends 70-year-old woman to hospital
A 70-year-old woman went to the hospital Monday evening after she was found in waters about 100 feet offshore of Richardson Beach Park in Hilo.
Four male bystanders brought the woman to shore on a paddleboard at about 5:23 p.m. and began CPR before paramedics arrived and took her to Hilo Medical Center.
No information was released on the woman’s condition.
