Vietnam’s President Truong Tan Sang has arrived in Honolulu.
His Vietnam Airlines plane touched down at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam at about 11:30 a.m.
Truong and his wife stepped off the plane at about 11:39 a.m. and the motorcade left the base at 11:43 a.m.
Honolulu Mayor Peter Carlisle says the arrival of world leaders and their motorcades for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit could cause traffic delays over the next few days and urged motorists to plan ahead and allow for extra time for travel.
