Get your holiday event on our list

The holidays are so stuffed full of events and activities that the Today section will run two special craft fair and event guides to help readers make the most of the season. The Holiday Craft Fair Guide will be published Nov. 25, and a holiday happenings guide for Santa encounters, mall activities, music, displays and other events will run Dec. 2.

To be included in these special listings, email details of your event — date, time, location, sponsor, description, contact information — to features@staradvertiser.com by Nov. 18. (If your event was already listed in our Sept. 18 Fall & Holiday Craft Fair Guide, it will be included in the new listings, and you do not need to resubmit information.)

Nonprofits asked to submit donation requests

Nonprofit groups that help those in need during the holidays are invited to submit a brief request for donations and volunteers to publish in our “Christmas Acts of Kindness” feature to appear in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser’s Today section on Nov. 27.

To inspire as many readers as possible to share the holiday spirit with others — and to increase your group’s chances of being highlighted — requests should be for specific items or volunteer tasks. Email details and contact information to features@staradvertiser.com by Nov. 21.
