Kailua man held as suspect in sex assault
Police arrested a 58-year-old Kailua man Thursday morning in connection with the kidnapping and sexual assault of a 19-old-woman earlier this month.
Police said a man held the woman against her will at a Kailua residence on Sept. 9.
The suspect was arrested at his North Kainalu Drive home at 8:44 a.m. Thursday and was being held pending charges of kidnapping and first-degree sexual assault.
