Pedestrian, 81, injured after being struck by vehicle on Vineyard Boulevard
An 81-year-old man was in fair condition at the Queen’s Medical Center today after being hit by a vehicle as he crossed Vineyard Boulevard near Foster Botanical Gardens this morning.
Police closed two Ewa-bound lanes of Vineyard Boulevard for an hour following the accident at 7:09 a.m. near Aala Street.
The pedestrian was taken to Queen’s in serious condition but he later was upgraded to fair, police said.
