Man allegedly smashes cars with rebar
Police arrested a 42-year-old man Friday after he allegedly used a rebar rod to smash the windows of five vehicles at a shopping center in the Ala Moana area.
A witness followed the man after he dropped the rod and was able to flag down a passing police officer.
The suspect, who does not have a local address, was arrested for second-degree criminal property damage.
