Police arrest 16-year-old girl in robbery case
Police arrested Tuesday a 16-year-old girl who allegedly stole a 15-year-old girl’s bag and assaulted her in Kalihi on Sunday.
Police said the 16-year-old allegedly ordered the other girl to put her bag down. When she refused, the suspect grabbed the bag and assulted her before fleeing the area.
Police initially arrested the suspect Tuesday on suspicion of second-degree robbery and later reclassified the case to third-degree assault.
