Two men charged after stabbing at Mililani church

Two Kalihi men have been charged with attempted murder after an argument at a Mililani church Saturday left one man in the hospital with a stab wound.

Bradley Otto, 23, is being held on $50,000 bail after being charged with second-degree attempted murder. Clinton Otto, 20, is being held on $25,000 bail on second-degree attempted murder and terroristic threatening charges.

The fight began at Mililani Presbyterian Church at 95-410 Kuahelani Ave. at 2:44 p.m. when Bradley Otto got into an argument with the brother of another 23-year-old man, police said.

The people involved are associated with a sister congregation that uses the church facilities, said the Rev. Anthony Gamley, interim pastor of Mililani Presbyterian Church. The incident took place in the church parking lot following a wedding, he said.

Bradley and Clinton Otto allegedly took out knives and attacked the 23-year-old man, police said.

Bradley Otto allegedly punched the victim and stabbed at him while the 20-year-old man allegedly cut the victim on his left arm, causing a large laceration, police said.

Family members detained both men until police arrived.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in serious condition and was treated for a stab wound, police said.

A weapon was recovered at the scene, police said.
