Police arrested a 24-year-old man for attempted murder in connection with an incident that left a 4-month-old boy with injuries to his neck and face in March.

According to police, the complaintant in the case, a 22-year-old woman, saw the child unharmed and in care of the suspect at 9 a.m. March 29. When she returned an hour later, she saw the child with injuries to the face and neck.

The suspect was arrested Sunday during a police investigation of another case involving both the suspect and the woman.
