Skydiver seriously hurt on landing at Dillingham
A parachutist was taken to the hospital in serious condition after he crashed into a fence after missing his landing zone target at Dillingham Field about 9:20 a.m. today.
The man, 28, sustained “pretty significant injuries” after missing his target at the Mokuleia air strip and drifting into a fence at the air strip, Honolulu fire Capt. Terry Seelig said.
He was alert and conscious when emergency officials reached him, Seelig said.
