Kauai Dems seek Morita-like person to replace Morita

Kauai Democrats seem to be looking for someone very familiar with Hermina Morita to replace her in the House.

Among the queries asked of applicants: "Describe how your personal philosophy is in agreement with or differs from Rep. Morita."

On March 14, Morita vacated the seat representing Kauai to take the job with the Public Utilities Commission. The Kauai Democratic Party council is expected to settle on the required three nominees and send them along to the party’s state chairman, Dante Carpenter, this week.

Spring break ends, traffic jam resumes

It was nice, wasn’t it?
