Man held in alleged knife threat to HPD officers
Police arrested a 32-year-old man Sunday afternoon after he allegedly threatened two officers with a knife.
According to police, the officers were responding to a call about an intoxicated man being a nuisance at a Waipahu residence. When they arrived, the man became belligerent, brandished a knife and threatened to kill the two officers.
After a brief confrontation, the man was arrested on two counts of first-degree terroristic threatening. Neither officer was injured.
