The estranged husband of a 39-year-old woman pulled out a handgun and threatened the woman and her 16-year-old son in Waialua, police said.

At about 3:20 p.m. yesterday, the husband, a 44-year-old man, rode up to the woman’s vehicle on his bicycle, pulled out a handgun from the waistband of his pants, and pointed it at the woman and her son, police said.

The woman drove off and reported the incident to police. The suspect turned himself in to the  Wahiawa police station a few hours later and was arrested for terroristic threatening and restraining order violations.
