Victim of Dec. 26 Kauai house fire identified
An 86-year-old woman who died last month in a Koloa house fire was identified as Lillian Lumacad, Kauai officials said.
The Dec. 26 fire destroyed the 1,200-square-foot wooden home at 3748 Aloha Place. The house was engulfed in flame when firefighters arrived following the 2:45 a.m. alarm. They brought the fire under control at 3:10 a.m.
Firefighters found Lumacad’s body in the home. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
