Farrington reopens after critical pedestrian accident
Farrington Highway has reopened following the investigation of a critical pedestrian accident this afternoon in Waianae.
At about 1:30 p.m., a vehicle hit a pedestrian at Hakimo Road. The person was taken to the hospital in critical condition, police said.
During the investigation, police closed the east-bound lanes and conducted contra flow in a west-bound lane.
Police sent out a release at 4:53 p.m., saying that Farrington Highway was reopened.
