Police investigate death of man from stab wounds in Pearl City
Police are investigating the death of a 43-year-old man who died of blood loss and stab wounds this morning in Pearl City.
The man was found with multiple stab wounds to his torso at 1:31 a.m., police said.
Paramedics pronounced him dead, police said.
The death was classified as an unattended death, pending autopsy results to determine if the stab wounds were self-inflicted, police said.
The Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office said an autopsy found the man bleed to death from large incise wounds to the abdomen and stab wounds to the neck.
The manner of death is pending further investigation.
