» A Honolulu Fire Department helicopter and its crew brought ashore eight people from a boat that ran aground off Kahala Sunday night. A Page B2 "Police/Fire" item on Monday said an HFD rescue boat picked up the stranded boaters.

» Police said the man killed in a hit-and-run crash at South King and Victoria streets Sunday sustained massive head and bodily injuries. A Page B2 article yesterday attributed the description to city Department of Emergency Services spokesman Bryan Cheplic.
