Injured woman airlifted from Koolau trail
Firefighters airlifted an injured woman in her 30s from a trail behind Koolau Golf Course on Windward Oahu this morning.
Firefighters were summoned at 9:45 a.m. when the woman, who was hiking with a group of people, fell and injured herself on the trail in the Koolau Mountains. The woman was flown by the Fire Department’s helicopter to the Pali Golf Course and then taken by ambulance to a local hospital in satisfactory condition.
