Former Kaneohe resident Dean Wilson shot a 5-under 67 today at the Turning Stone Resort Championship in Verona, N.Y.

He is 5-under 139 through 36 holes and is currently tied for 12th, five shots off the lead of Alex Cejka (66—134). Wilson carded five birdies and no bogeys yesterday at the Atunyote Golf Club. He had three birdies and three bogeys in his opening round yesterday.

The Castle High product is on a good three-week roll that has him back in contention for getting his PGA Tour card for 2011.
