Man stabbed in unprovoked attack in Waikiki
A 25-year-old man who was sitting in a parked car was stabbed in what police called an unprovoked attack in Waikiki Thursday night.
Police said the man had just parked his car near the Hale Koa Hotel when the suspect, a 35-year-old man with no local address, approached the car and stabbed the victim several times at about 9:50 p.m.
Passengers in the victim’s vehicle subdued the suspect and held him until police arrived and arrested him.
The stabbing victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
