Poll watcher Kaiolani Torres held up an invalid ballot during the Hawaii Republican Party presidential caucus at Kalani High School on Tuesday. The voter had changed their mind and checked off another candidate on the same ballot. They were given a new one.

James Ornellas, 29, wore a Donald Trump shirt at the Hawaii republican presidential caucus held at Kaiser High School on Tuesday. “I was a democrat in ’08 and recently switched parties. I went from democrat to independent and now I’m a republican,” said Ornellas. When asked why he was supporting Trump Ornellas said, “He’s not bought-out. He’s not backed by oil companies or insurance companies or banks.”
