The state Office of Elections and county clerks will hold drive-thru voter registration Wednesday and Thursday, the deadline to register for the Aug. 13
primary.
Drive-thru voter registration will be open around the state at various locations, where residents can register or update their
registration information from the convenience of their vehicle. Voters can also drop off completed voter registration forms.
Registration is open to U.S. citizens and Hawaii
residents at least 18 years old.
Here are the drive-thru sites:
>> Hawaii island: Bayfront (Hilo), Kmart (Kona), Malama Market (Pahoa),
9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
>> Maui: Baldwin High School auditorium, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
>> Kauai: Office of County Clerk, Elections Division,
8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
>> Oahu: state Capitol (side facing Beretania Street), 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Wikiwiki voter registration forms are available at post offices, libraries,
telephone directory, clerk’s offices and the Office of Elections website.
Completed voter registration forms must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. or postmarked by Thursday.
