State Supreme Court dismisses suit to disqualify Ted Cruz

ASSOCIATED PRESS

Republican presidential candidate, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, spoke at Woodrow Wilson Middle School, Sunday, in Terre Haute, Ind.

The state Supreme Court has dismissed an election contest complaint alleging that U.S. Sen Ted Cruz is not qualified to run for president.

The five-page decision issued Thursday also rejects a request by Craig Smallwood for an injunction against the election because the Republican Party is “guilty of election fraud because (by) knowingly entering an illegal candidate.”

The court rejected the motion because it said it did not have jurisdiction in the matter.

Knuckleheads wasting tax dollars on foolish issues. Cruz knows the Constitution, you aren’t going to win this argument.

Actually, “natural born” has never been actually defined. Was McCain a natural born citizen born in Panama? Was Romney’s father, who was born in Mexico? Does it even matter?

IMO, this is all rather silly, but it hasn’t been actually defined. But I gotta say it is rather amusing to see the GOP turn its birther wing on Cruz who actually was objectively born outside of the US.
