Man who died after Kunia crash is identified
The Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office today identified the man who died in a two-vehicle crash Friday on Kunia Road as Ladarius T. Mcinnis, 26, of Schofield Barracks.
Mcinnis died of multiple blunt force injuries, the office said.
Police said Mcinnis crossed the center line while driving a BMW and collided with an oncoming utility truck about 10:45 a.m. Friday.
The truck driver, a 50-year-old Waipahu man, was taken to the hospital in serious condition. Mcinnis died at the scene.
Police said speed was an apparent factor.
Police closed Kunia Road between Anonui Street and Kupuna Loop for about three hours to investigate.

Speed kills an old axiom?
I guess the BMW was not fast enough in this case or Mcinnis thought it was. Condolences.
