Man charged with assault of another man in Waikiki
A 29-year-old man was charged Saturday with assaulting a 52-year-old man in Waikiki.
Daniel Morita, who has no local address, was charged with second-degree assault. His bail was set at $25,000.
Police said Morita struck the victim with a dangerous instrument about 4:50 p.m. Friday. He was arrested shortly afterwards at Waikiki Beach without incident.
