Fatal crash closes portion of Farrington Highway in Waianae
A 22-year-old male pedestrian died this evening after he was struck by a vehicle while crossing Farrington Highway near Pohakunui Avenue in Waianae.
The incident happened at 8:41 p.m., according to an Emergency Medical Services report.
The man was declared dead at the scene.
Police closed the Honolulu-bound lanes of the highway at Laumania Avenue. Traffic is being diverted to Keaulana Avenue.
