With the aging supreme court, Trump will have a good chance of appointing at least 3 judges in the next 8 years! Good bye Abortion!!!!! Its about time the 60 million babies killed since Roe be vindicated!
This is the one and only reason to vote for Trump 2020!

What should Democrats do? What can they do? They can choose to be part of the solution or part of the Problem!
I mean Really folks? This SA poll ? Is silly!

    Check it out!
Democrats are constantly “Missing In Action”, when it comes to critical issues like Senate confirmations Votes and the President Inaugurations .
    The Oppose and Obstruct party?
    I say?
Just do your JOB,the job you were elected to do! Hold your head up! Whether you like Neil Gorsuch as AG or NOT just VOTE and make your stance known.

But by seeing them doing the same thing over and over again (=Insanity) of opposition and delays or “Oppose and Obstruct” and being absent on all the critical issues. The Democrats are not helping anyone by staying home and defying the Republicans and the people! It’s NOT HELPING even them!

Get paid for throwing a Tantrum?
Heck! This is the greatest Job on The Planet. You get Paid for being Absent and staying HOME! I’d like to get PAID for staying home. Hang out at the Malls. Where do I sign up!Haaaaaaaaaaaaa!
I see it this way, by being defiant and “Childlike”, states that President Trump Won in Double digits,as a result many Democrats coming up for re-election in 2018 will lose their seats, which will ULTIMATELY give more Power to The Republicans. Kinda the same stuff we have right here, right ? All President Trump needs to do is, is just hold one his Sell-Out Rallys in those key states and it’s “Game Over” for them!

Yeah I get it! Save your breath! Of course NOT Hawaii congressional members,we are way beyond reasonable. But if they keep “Stoking the Fire” of divide to their fellow Democrats, many of their colleagues will lose their seats.
But hey it feels good “Staying Home” stay home. Just be prepared for the outcome. You’ll be home for a long time. IMUA

IRT MoiLee, fully agree with your post. Ex-Senator and U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid truly scr_wed the Democrats for the next 21 years with his majority vote change on approving appointees, except the nominee for the U.S. Supreme Court. At present, Democrats can’t do anything, period. And, because of Harry Reid, Democrats will lose in 2018.

  5. stanislous says:

Confirming Gorsuch will only make the court “balanced”… might as well go for it. It’s the next, and the next, and the next person appointed that will tilt the balance of the court. Democrats brought this all on themselves by changing how many votes it takes to confirm. They were warned not to do it at the time… that it would come back to bit them. Well CHOMP CHOMP democrats. you are really going to feel the bite now.

  6. plainly_the_elder says:

Senate Democrats will wail, whine, cry, wring their hands and denounce him with fury and all of the usual slandering lies: racist, sexist, homophobe, xenophobe, etc.
The one phrase they really need to get used to is: “Justice Gorsuch”.

  7. Bdpapa says:

I can’t believe “keeping an open mind before making a decision” has the least amount of votes! This is insane!

  8. wiliki says:

Republicans have done nothing to make choosing Supreme Court justices a bipartisan venture. When Republicans go nuclear, it’ll be the end of bipartisanship in the Senate.

The Senate will be a weaker version of the House and the little states will be over-represented there. This will be a good time to change the constitution and make the Senate more representative just as is the Hawaii State Senate.
