Mililani Lhasa Apso returns home a winner from 2018 National Dog Show
Billy the Lhasa Apso recently returned home to Mililani a champ after being named the winner of the non-sporting group at the 2018 National Dog Show, an annual event broadcast on NBC every Thanksgiving.
Billy, whose long coat was perfectly coiffed, beat out a Tibetan terrier, a Dalmation and a French bulldog, among other top dogs, to win the non-sporting category. He also holds the Best of Breed 2018 title from the Westminster Kennel Club, along with numerous other honors.
While Billy was born in Hawaii, he grew up in Japan and is owned by people in England, Hawaii and California. In his free time, he enjoys surfing with his breeder-owner-handler, Adrian Agard of Mililani, as well as traveling.
More than 185 breeds of dogs competed at the 2018 National Dog Show. Whiskey the Whippet won Best in Show.
