Hawaiian Airlines flight returns to Honolulu due to medical emergency
A Hawaiian Airlines flight from Honolulu bound for Seattle turned back today due to a medical emergency.
Hawaiian Flight 22 returned to Honolulu after a 71-year-old man with hypertension was found to be breathing heavily, Hawaiian spokeswoman Ann Botticelli said.
The flight was delayed four hours and six minutes, she said.
The flight departed Honolulu at 1:05 p.m. and was originally scheduled to arrive in Seattle at 9:50 p.m. It departed at 5:11 p.m. and was estimated to arrive at 1:18 a.m. Wednesday, according to Hawaiian’s website.
