Trump plans Hawaii stopover after summit

President Donald Trump on Monday blew out a candle on a cake during an early birthday lunch with Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in Singapore. Trump turns 72 Thursday.
President Donald Trump planned to make a brief stopover in Hawaii after leaving Singapore following nuclear negotiations with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un.
Trump and his entourage were expected to arrive at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam late this afternoon for a 1-1/2-hour stopover before continuing on to Joint Base Andrews.
The White House released Trump’s flight schedule on the heels of the announcement that he was leaving Singapore early Opens in a new tab due to nuclear negotiations moving “more quickly than expected,” as Trump said. — Star-Advertiser staff
