Trump to make brief stopover in Hawaii

President Donald Trump blew out a candle on a cake celebrating an early birthday during lunch with Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in Singapore, today. Trump turns 72 on Thursday.

President Donald Trump plans to make a brief stopover in Hawaii after leaving Singapore early following nuclear negotiations with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un.

Trump and his entourage are expected to arrive at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Tuesday morning for an hour-and-a-half stopover before continuing on to Joint Base Andrews.

The White House released Trump’s flight schedule on the heels of the announcement that he was leaving Singapore early due to nuclear negotiations moving “more quickly than expected,” Trump said.

Trump and Kim have yet to meet.
