While visitors to the facility generally rated their Aloha Stadium experience “good,” the sound system, replays, Wi-Fi and food choices prompted the most comments, a survey disclosed.
Stadium manager Scott Chan briefed members of the Aloha Stadium Authority on the survey at Thursday’s meeting. The survey, which involved 300 respondents, was conduced during the University of Hawaii football season and focused on Rainbow Warrior football games.
Chan said the survey would be used to “improve the experience for our guests and clients as we go forward. The survey gives us an idea of what we have to work on, which is all you can ask for.”
Centerplate, which holds concession rights at Aloha Stadium, was acquired last month by Sodexo, the world’s second largest catering service. Chan said he plans to meet with Sodexo officials and would share with them suggestions and concerns raised by the survey.
