Waikiki choking leads to man’s arrest
A 31-year-old man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly choking a 27-year-old woman in Waikiki.
Police said the suspect restricted the woman’s airway causing bodily injury.
The incident occurred at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, prompting a call to police. Officers arrested the man without incident at 12:20 a.m. on suspicion of abuse through strangulation.
